On the 9th of December 2015 I will be presenting a special Open Masterclass “Mittwochs um Acht” (Wednesdays at 8.00 pm.) in the Chamber Music Hall of the Cologne Hochschule, where students, colleagues, friends and the public are invited to attend.
The form of the Masterclass will be in the style of an open rehearsal for approximately an hour, followed by a short performance of the work(s). The main work will be the Overture of Music for the Royal Fireworks by G.F. Handel., arranged for 8 trumpets. (these parts can be doubled if more than 8 apply).
I am inviting all trumpet students from the 3 campuses, Aachen, Wuppertal and Cologne to participate in this fun and worthwhile project, which will be concentrating on the interpretation of baroque performance practice on modern instruments (B flat, C and Piccolo Trumpets required).

Ich möchte Dir sagen dass ich über Dein Buch : Beyond Brass Basics immer wieder nur staune. Deine Ausführungen über die moderne Trompetenpraxis sind in meinem Unterricht nicht mehr wegzudenken. Viele Dinge wurden auch mir erst durch dieses Buch klar .
